While some duties can be handled remotely, approximately 75% of the tasks for this position will need to be carried out ON SITE with the USAF.

Our Agile Coaches lead clients in their adoption of Agile methodologies. You will have the opportunity to serve as a strategic partner and thought leader in our client’s transition to Lean-Agile principles and practices that will enable innovation and the delivery of quality, high-impact breakthrough experiences. Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of experience in software development/information technology
3 years of Agile experience (Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or a related field
SAFe certification (SPC)
Experience working with item tracking tools (Azure, Jira, etc.)
Experience with a variety of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.
Experience scaling Lean-Agile practices, preferably Scaled Agile Framework experience
Proficiency with leading workshops including Story Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, Story Writing, etc.
Proficiency in Agile practices and ability to coach teams and programs at varying maturity levels
Proficiency with organizational and facilitation skills
Creative problem solving and influencing skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:

Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders and team members to serve as a trusted partner during their transition to Lean-Agile principles and practices
Apply Lean-Agile values and principles to software delivery teams
Teach team members the skills they can use to improve their processes
Develop and refine best practices and processes to guide teams through Agile methodology
Speak in front of groups and lead meetings
Facilitate knowledge transfer through workshops, trainings and informal coaching
Collaborate on strategies for successful company Agile methodology adoption
Participate in developing and refining best practices for projects
Mentor leaders and team members in agile principles
Make critical process recommendations and think strategically in order to optimize the entire system

Compensation:

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, possible 1099 engagements
