What you'll do:

  • Create, deliver, and track software license agreements
  • Learn the details of the Atlassian licenses we sell and be able to answer customer questions. Work with sales operations to deliver quotes for Atlassian products. Help customers navigate decisions about which products are right for them.
  • Interact directly with Atlassian to create quotes for cloud products, co-term license agreements, request user tier upgrades and inquire about discounts
  • Track when license agreements sent to customers are about to expire and notify the sales team.
  • Join sales calls and take notes on licensing opportunities, then follow up by generating quotes.
  • Track when customer software is up for renewal and notify the sales team about the new opportunity.
  • Think strategically about how to save customers money by taking advantage of special discount programs offered by Atlassian
  • Work closely with the operations team to collaborate on issues of sales tax, invoicing, and customer contacts.

Compensation:

  • Base salary and OTE is very competitive and commensurate with experience.

Job requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Exacting attention to detail
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills and facility with numbers
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and master complex processes and information
  • Demonstrated ability to serve internal or external stakeholders with pleasant and timely service
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do whatever it takes to be successful
  • Ability to learn internal software and internal processes
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and manage multiple shifting priorities in a fast-paced working environment
  • Pleasant to interact with for both internal team, partners, and external customers

Bonus Points for:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (ideally in business, marketing, communications, engineering, computer science, IT or other related field)
  • 3+ years B2B sales and/or marketing experience in high-tech industry (hardware, software or consulting services)
